At long last …
Ploszajski Lynch Consulting Limited were commissioned to carry out parallel playing pitch and built facilities studies to guide development over the coming years. The studies and action plans will be linked to Reigate & Banstead Borough Council’s Local Plan which forecasts significant population growth. This will inevitably bring increased demand for sport and leisure facilities. The study follows Sport England PPS and ANOG guidance and was completed working closely with the governing bodies of sport and Active Surrey.
The project covers not only the traditional pitch sports and leisure facilities but also community centres, playgrounds and informal facilities such as ball parks, MUGAs and skateparks such as the one pictured from Priory Park, Reigate.
