The Sports Council needs you!

We are recruiting volunteers to represent their sports on the Sports Council for both indoor & outdoor sports. The role involves:

• Acting as an ambassador for your sport
• Networking with other sports clubs to understand their needs
• Establishing good working relationships with the relevant sports governing bodies to understand the wider picture, development priorities and availability of development funding
• Consolidating & articulating the challenges & needs of your sport to the borough council
• Helping to bring together clubs, governing bodies and borough council to enhance facilities & opportunities for your sport in the borough
